报告人介绍：

Ivan W. Kirk was employed as Agricultural Engineer in Aerial Application Research Unit, USDA-ARS,College Station,TX since 1987 . He received his Ph.D. fromAuburn  University in 1967, majoring in Agricultural Engineering. Currently, he has published over 100 publications in the scientific and professional literature related to cotton harvesting, cotton ginning, and aerial application of crop production and protection materials.

Sorin C. Popescu is currently Associate Professor of Department of Ecosystem Science and Management,TexasA&MUniversity . He received his Ph.D. in Forestry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute andStateUniversity (Virginia Tech) in 2002. His main research interest is realted to the remote sensing of terrestrial ecosystems with applications in environmental sciences.
